Muir Hut on top of Muir Pass. There was about 8 of us that spent the night inside. It was probably the warmest night we've had in the Sierras even at 12,000 feet.
When we are not going over snowy mountain passes we are crossing rivers. We have to cross at least a few big rivers a day as well as splashing through run off. Wet, cold feet all day long.
Typical scene after crossing a river, drying out and eating food.
Dagney crossing Mono Creek. This was probably the scariest river ford yet. It wasn't that deep but it was Raging!!
