The Mojave

Another bridge to the rescue. We hung out under this from 10:00 am untill 6:00 pm. It would be death to try and hike through the mojave in the middle of the day. We started out the night before at 8:15 pm and walked untill 11:00 pm.Then the next morning we got up at 5:00 am and boogied to this bridge to wait out the heat. There were about 10 of us there.





Heading out across the mojave at about 6:00 pm after hanging out under the bridge for 8 hours.


We were so excited to be warm for once. It was 9:00 pm and we were still in shorts and a tank top. Usually we are throwing on layers around 5 or 6.


There were so many windmills coming into Tehachapi. These things are huge when you get up close to them.


We should be in Kennedy Meadows around June 9!!- Love Em
